professionals. Founded in 2001, the company has built a
solid foundation of environmental education and outreach
helping consumers and communities take advantage of
energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive design
in real estate properties. Through EcoBroker’s unique
energy and environmental curriculum, real estate
professionals acquire the knowledge and resources to
become Certified EcoBrokers®. These real
estate professionals assist clients in their pursuit of

EcoBroker International Announces New President - David
Goldstein
Dr. John Beldock,
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. John Beldock is the CTO of EcoBroker
International and the Executive Director of the
Association of Energy and Environmental Real Estate
Professionals (AEEREP). He has taught courses in energy
engineering, energy and environmental technologies,
statistics and pollution prevention at the University of
California, Davis; George Mason University; and the
University of Maryland at College Park.
Currently, Dr. Beldock
teaches EcoBroker’s award-winning real estate continuing
education courses to licensed real estate professionals
worldwide. He is the former director of the U.S.
Department of Energy's Environmental Analysis Program in
the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
With an undergraduate degree from the University of
Kansas, Dr. Beldock then earned his Master of Science
and Doctorate from the University of California and its
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The co-founder of
the U.S. Department of Energy's NICE3 Program, he
recently built and sold an energy-efficient product
manufacturing concern. Dr. Beldock was the 1991
recipient of the EPA's Outstanding Performance Award for
Research in Pollution Prevention.
Prior to starting EcoBroker,
Dr. Beldock founded an energy and environmental
consulting practice in Colorado in 1992, serving both
public and private sector clients. He is currently a
member of the National Association of Realtors®,
the Real Estate Educator's Association, the Women's
Council of Realtors®,
and the Jefferson County Association of Realtors®.
He is a licensed real estate professional in the state
of Colorado, and lives in Evergreen with his wife and
three children.
John K. Stovall, MBA,
Vice President
John Stovall, MBA, ABR, EcoBroker®,
is vice president of business development for EcoBroker
International. His education includes a degree in
chemistry from Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y., and an
MBA in finance from the University of Colorado. Stovall
was director and senior instructor of Jones College,
Colorado's largest real estate license and continuing
education school, which also provides training for
securities licensing, insurance licensing and home
inspection.
Stovall was previously
acquisitions editor for Dearborn Financial Publishing,
the largest publisher of real estate professional books;
and training director and regional director for the
Realty World real estate franchise in Colorado and
Wyoming. Stovall has been a licensed real estate broker
in Colorado for 34 years. He is co-author and publisher
of "Guidebook to Colorado Real Estate Contracts and
Disclosures," a reference book that has been cited in
decisions of the Colorado Supreme Court.
Stovall is a charter member
and past president of the National Real Estate Educators
Association. He is currently treasurer of the Colorado
Real Estate Educators Association. Stovall also is a
member of the National Association of Realtors®,
the Colorado Association of Realtors®
and the Denver Board of Realtors®.
He has served on the Education Committee of the National
Association of Realtors, the Education Committee of the
Denver Board of Realtors®
and been an advisor to the Denver Metropolitan
Commercial Association of Realtors®.
Stovall lives in Denver
with his wife of 37 years. He is president of the
Douglas Society of the Denver Art Museum, a support
group for the museum’s Native Arts Department. He is
also an active Boy Scout leader with more than 50 years
of experience in scouting. |
